Animal Haven Veterinary Clinic

A high-quality Veterinary Hospital here in Socorro New Mexico is seeking a highly motivated, veterinary assistant to complement our staff. Previous experience as a veterinary assistant would be beneficial but not necessary. Seeking a full-time person but willing to work with two part-time. Full time position Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Duties include assisting veterinarians with animals in medical and surgical setting such as restraining animals for venipuncture, cleaning animals, feeding and medicating etc. Salary commensurate with abilities; we also offer benefits.

MSI Connect Fellowship

Interested in working with national laboratories to further your academic and professional goals? If so, you're a great fit for the MSI Connect Fellowship!

The MSI Connect program, spearheaded by Brookhaven National Laboratory, is an immersive summer fellowship for MSI undergraduate/graduate students and alumni to work in collaborative teams paired with DOE National Lab technology. 

The 9-week summer fellowship is a training program, intended to build entrepreneurial skills and knowledge around technology transfer and commercialization. The program includes a 1-week onsite bootcamp at one of 6 designated labs, with the remaining 7 weeks of the program held virtually. The final week includes an on-site live pitch event at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

All volunteers are invited to attend our opening night celebration on Wednesday, December 11th from 4:30pm-6:00pm at the Socorro Convention Center.
There will be free hors d'oeuvres from Tumbleweeds Diner, lots of prizes and a free talk about crane behavior at night called Cranes After Dark.
