techConnect 101 - Getting Started

techConnect is a student engagement tool the Division of Student Life utilizes for students and departments. Get involved by joining organizations and clubs that you are interested in. Check out events happening around campus, keep up with the latest news, and stay connected to your organizations. techConnect can help recognized student organizations, clubs, and departments promote on-campus events and programs and communicate with their organization, club, or department members.

Student Organizations, clubs, and departments can:

  • Manage members and dues
  • Send emails to your members and contacts
  • Create and maintain your club website
  • Maintain a calendar of events, send invites, and receive RSVPs
  • Share documents with officers and members
  • Conduct surveys
  • See and manage budgets

techConnect allows NMT's faculty and staff to track attendance and collect information through forms, co-curricular involvement, and event registration. Community engagement participation can be shared with prospective employers and graduate schools.
