Kirk Yeager earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Lafayette College and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Cornell University. He worked as a research scientist ('95-'98) and Associate Directot of R&D ('99-'00) at NMT's Energeric Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC), plus was an Adjust Professor in the Chemistry Department ('95-'00)/ For 10 years, he served as a Physical Scientist/Foresnic Examiner for the FBI Labratory's Explosives Unit. where he deployed as a bombing crime scene investigator to dozens of countries. Currently, he is the FBI's Chief Explosives Scientist.
Dr. Yeager, a dynamic presenter, will provide anecdotes from his extensive career, beginning with lessons learned from his time at NMT. He will also offer practical advice for students working toward careers in engineering and science.
